As one of the scientific organizers, I am proud to present the program of the NIAS Lorentz Workshop on Relationships, Technology and Health. The workshop will deal with the theory and application of social support, how social support relates to having a healthier and happier life, and how new digital technologies may interfere, for better or for worse, with social relationships.
Complementary to the workshop’s talks and discussions, a group of entrepreneurs, designers and developers will work on innovative e-mental health concepts and products, together forming a “living lab” – a development environment where researchers, technologists and creatives co-create innovations, driven and inspired by our workshop’s research talks and brainstorm sessions.
You can download the program here.
This workshop is being organized as part of the NIAS-Lorentz Program, to stimulate research bridging the natural sciences with the humanities and social sciences.
